AM1500, which has had awful ratings of late, appears to be shaking up its lineup Thursday.
Prebil and Murphy, the 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. hosts, have been removed from the website schedule; the genial Wisconsin duo has been at least temporarily replaced by right-winger Bob Davis, who, amid global warming denialism this morning, said he'd be filling in for a couple of days.
As I write this (around 10 a.m.), it will be interesting to see what happens to Kelly Webb, the 1-2 p.m. host who is the other bridge between longtime AM1500 favorites Patrick Reusse and Joe Soucheray.
A call and message to program director Steve Konrad wasn't immediately returned. [Note: I worked for KSTP and Konrad in the mid-90s.] Last month, Konrad hired ex-KFAN personality Joe Anderson for the 5:30-8 p.m. slot following Soucheray; Anderson received a one-year contract.
