Bend Economy Bulletin Board

Welcome to the bendeconomy bulletin board, a group of forums for discussing economic issues related to Bend, Oregon. Participation is open to everyone. I'll contribute to the discussions when I have something relevant to say, but my opinion is just one of many here. Everyone's opinion is welcome.

As the administrator of this bulletin board my intention is to moderate with a light hand, but as users you must follow a few simple rules. Posts must be civil and respectful of others' opinions. Spam will be removed, as will posts that insult others. You may post under a nickname or handle, but you may not post under someone else's name or under a handle that includes someone else's name.

I encourage participants to stay on topic. If you have something to say that doesn't fit into an existing topic please feel free to create a new topic. Try to create the new topic in the appropriate forum -- for example housing-related topics belong in the Real Estate forum. And if we need another forum to handle topics I didn't anticipate I'll be happy to create a new one.
